A critical component in glass ((up to 30% )) is SODA ASH. As there was not enough production in IRAN to cover Iranian local market and consumption KAVEH GLASS INDUSTRY GROUP decided to establish a SODA ASH plant in IRAN to secure the market and increasing the effectiveness of Iranian industry.

Kaveh Soda Chemical Industries CO., a member of Kaveh Glass Industry Group has been established since the year 2003. KSCI activities are based on producing high quality dense soda ash & light soda ash, according to the latest modification of Solvay process

Kaveh Soda chemical industries is located in northwest of Iran close to Uromieh salt lake, as pure salt is an essential for Solvoy process . Huge resources of lime and other component in the area ,were other proofs to determine the location.

The Solvoy process which is widely used in world by making use of raw salt and limestone as raw materials to produce Soda ash. Plant introduce ammonia Soda ash process to produce light Soda ash and then to produce dense Soda ash by means of solid phase hydration.

Sodium Carbonate or SODA ASH is made usines common salt, ammonia, carbon dioxide and lime.
